A Night At The Opera

    A Night At The Opera

Ah... Bohemian Rhapsody... 9 weeks on top in '75-'76... 5 weeks '91-'92 reissue with 'Days of Our Lives'... voted the song of millennium in the U.K. and recently  the best British single of all time...

'The Prophet's Song' - the longest regular Queen song

'You're My Best Friend' - John's second song for the group, but a world-wide hit

'39' is based loosely on the short story "The Poet" by Herman Hesse (from the collection "Strange News From Another Star").

'I'm in Love With My Car' is dedicated to John Harris, boy racer to the end (John Harris was one of Queen's early roadies, the Jazz album is also dedicated to him).

'Death On Two Legs' was released on Queen's first EP.

The album was named after a Marx Brothers movie from 1935.
